1997 Jeep Cherokee & Misc.
So I recently discovered frame rot on the rear of my XJ and came across a good deal on CL that I couldn't pass up. This means it's time to part ways with my current Cherokee. I was offered 500 for the whole thing, minus tires, wheels, bumper, and exhaust tonight at work but in case he doesn't contact me I figure I'd throw this up here to see what kind of interest I could draw.
It's a black 1997 4 door with the 4.0, AX-15, and NP231. It has around 186,000 miles on it. I can figure out the exact amount if anybody so wishes. Everything runs, shifts, and works perfectly besides a clicking at higher RPMs before it warms up. I wasn't able to figure that out yet. The engine has a full tune up, including an oil change around 1500 miles ago, and a brand new Airtex fuel pump.
Interior wise, it isn't the best. I only have the two front seats in it, because it did not come with the rear. Center console is bare and the mount is broken. I have an agate center console sitting in my garage though. Dash is in good shape, swapped in a full cluster recently. AC and heat work great. Very few interior panels are remaining. All manual options and the door panels are in rough shape.
Body wise, it is about half decent.Rear hatch and panel are brand from another jeep in good shape, aside from a dent and scrape on the exterior side by the rear quarter window. Rockers are almost nonexistent. A lot of rust in the rear quarter area. Roof almost has no clear coat left. There was some serious damage done to the front crossmember at some point. It pushed the header panel up slightly and some parts are missing on the upper radiatior/hood mount. I have a white door for the rear driver's door because somehow, it had a blue seriously damaged door on it with no other damage around that door. Front fenders were butchered by the PO and the rears were properly cut and folded by me. I also cut and folded the right rear quarter because of how bad the rust was.
The frame is the biggest issue, for me at least. Everything is okay until you get to right around the front leaf spring mount. Then rust and holes become far too common for my personal liking. I'm sure it could be patched if someone really wanted to do it, but the end caps to the frame are completely rotted on both sides of the rear and it would take some real craftiness to make it look clean or pass inspection.
With all of that being said, it could be sold whole and used for parts very easily. However, I will be keeping the front bumper, the exhaust from the cat-back, battery, and possibly the head unit. The drivetrain itself is worth a few hundred. I would sell it whole for the right price. Otherwise, every single piece is OBO. I will make a basic list of the major parts I have from this jeep as well as spare parts I have lying around.
-4.0, AX-15, NP231 with ~186,000 miles (will come with all engine accessories aside from battery) $500
-4.0, AW4 with ~221,000 miles (will need some engine accessories and touching up as it sat under a tarp for 2 years) $300
-All 4 doors including interior panels $30 each or $100 for all 4
-Hatch & Agate Interior Panel $75
-Emerald Green Hatch; no interior panels, locking mechanism, etc. $40
-Dented to hell blue rear driver's door, manual options with good door inners and privacy glass $25
-Jeep stock steelies, set of 4 in decent condition with two hubcaps $60
-TJ flares, ready for installation on an XJ, need paint $100
-1997 XJ front seats, light grey, decent condition $50
-1993 XJ front and rear seats, light grey, good condition $100
And here are a list of parts that will be available shortly after I acquire the jeep in the days/weeks following:
-Misc. 3" lift parts (the parts depend on what I need to use on the new jeep) $150
-1998 intake manifold & throttle body $75
-1998 exhaust header $50
-1998 stock exhaust $75
-Set of 4 Cragar D windows, will need to be sanded down and repainted $100
All prices are OBO, and will entertain all trade offers. I am mostly interested in aftermarket parts such as front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, buschwacker FLAT flares, Cold Air Intake/Cowl Intake, etc. You can respond here or shoot me a text at 8154090804. I will upload whatever pictures I have on my phone that the forum says will fit, otherwise I will personally send anyone whatever pictures they request. I am located in 18014 and will meet within a reasonable distance. I will update this as I get pictures or think of other parts. Thanks guys!

Sorry for the lack of responses guys, a lot has been going on lately with work, my family, and getting my other jeep going. I now have everything off of the jeep I need and it will be getting scrapped in the coming week, so here's the basic list of what I now have:
-Everything to do a AX-15 swap including ecu, pedals, driveshafts, and transfer case
-TJ flares
-Stock XJ wheels in good shape, missing two center caps
-Black header panel with all grille pieces
-Slate blue header panel with center grille piece
-2 4.0 radiators
-LCAs for 3" lift, need bushings
-Lift shackles for misc lift
-Sway bar links for I believe 6-8" lift
-Front pre 97 light gray power option door panels
-4.0 & AW4 out of a 93, 221,xxx miles
I might sell my 4.0 with 186,xxx miles, I want to keep it to rebuild and stroke it but I'd sell it for the right price. Everything with the motors and transmissions are perfect and ran great, the engines would both need some accessory parts and misc work but nothing major.
I will not ship because I do not have the time currently, I apologize for the inconvenience. However, I will meet within a reasonable distance. I live in Bath, work in Whitehall, and am going to be taking I-80 West all the way from eastern PA to Illinois next week for vacation and I could possibly bring parts with me. Thanks guys!
