I received mine today. Probably would've had them yesterday but I didn't have my mailbox replaced yet. They look great. Look like brand new. Hopefully get them put in in a couple days.

Where can i pick up an extra Oring for the top of the 703 injector where it goes into the rail? I thought I had them lubed up pretty good. But i took a little sliver off the side of one the orings when i installed them this morning. It's not leaking at the moment but I'm afraid they might shrink a tad and develop a leak.

NAPA carries them. You might find an o-ring at the hardware store that is similar in construction and the correct size.

As mentioned most auto parts stores stock them. You can find same sized ones at like Home Depot but be careful what they are made of as plumbing ones aren't made from rubber that withstands gasoline. Keep an eye on it though.

Most part stores will have them. Just get a standard one for whatever year of your xj.

I have a 1998 XJ and need to upgrade to the four hole ones.
What do you need me to do to verify which ones I have?
I am ready when you are.
Thanks.
p.s. I am choosing you because of the great deal you offer, and especially for the GREAT feedback from other customers.. That speaks volumes.

Thanks. Just send me a PM for my Paypal or if you want to use a money order. Most likely you need the 703 injectors. I've only ever seen 2 '98's that had the newer set up and they were made very late in the model year. If you have fat metal injectors in there you have to old type and need the 703's. The newer '99+ XJs have thin round black plastic injectors

Good lord, I swapped mine in tonight and it's running like crap. I'm going to let it sit with the battery disconnected overnight to get the computer to reset. I hope I didn't trash a sensor somehow during the swap.

Mine ran like crap for a good 10 mins. Then finally it clicked and started running good. I love it. Runs better than before. Your computer has to adjust to the new injectors. Your good

When i was done, i started it and let it run while i went and washed up. Cane back out after about 10mins revved it up a couple times and started running smooth. Smoother than before.

I would not hesitate to order these again. Especially from this fella. Might have a couple buddies getting ahold of you for a set programbo

If you had the battery disconnected while you did it nothing should have gone wrong sensor wise. Also you want to let the two battery cable touch together awhile (OFF the battery of course) to discharge the capacitors. Then reconnect the battery and turn the headlights on and off, without starting the Jeep. That will all clear the computer. Otherwise a leaky o-ring could be the problem but if everything checks out and it doesn't smooth out let me know and we can check if one may be faulty and sticking.

Ditto.....do this any time a performance mod is done....... Taken from GoJeep.com

Also it is worth erasing the old ECU or PCM memory.

Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal and touch it to ground for 30seconds. (This is to discharge the PCM capacitors, which maintain the AdaptiveMemory.
Reconnect the Battery Cable
Turn Ignition Switch to the “On” position but DO NOT start the engine
Turn Headlight “On”
Turn Headlights “Off”
Turn Ignition Key “Off” When you start the engine it will be running off a set of pre-programmed tables that come with the PCM from the factory. When you get the engine up to operating temperature, the PCM will start to collect data for the “Adaptive Memory”. The PCM will collect data for Adaptive Memory for the first 50 Warm-up Cycles.

I did the PCM reset for the adaptive memory this morning. Still sounds like a Harley, running rich, but not nearly as bad as it was last night.

Let me know all or any symptoms. Does it take a long crank to start after it's sat awhile? Any computer codes? Other than an o-ring problem the only problem rebuilt injectors usually can have is one gets stuck partly open or "leaks down" if debris dislodged in the cleaning process sneak under the micro magnet that makes the injector work. It happens to like a couple injectors out of 200 cleaned so it's not common but can happen.
