I did this upgrade and drove over 300 miles this weekend into western VA. This significantly reduced the amount of downshifting going up large hills. I also notice a much better throttle response.
Thanks for great service and product.

Questions.
What did the price used to be out of curiosity?
I want to go 62mm but am not capable of making my own butterfly do they sell them aftermarket?
Is it foolish to want 62 over 60 or is there an actual difference?
I have a 99...any ready to go?

About a yr. ago the price was $85. Next yr it will probably be $95.
I use glass beads, steel wool, Scotchbrite, grease, electricity, parts cleaner, my time, etc.
Prices keep going up on everything. If I lose money, I will have to stop making them.
I have not found any plates aftermarket....If I did, Id probably sell some 62s.
I wouldn't say its foolish, but if you have common mods, and are not stroked, then I believe you will be happy with a 60. Ive sold 235 with no complaints.
No one I know has dynode a 60 and then a 62 on a stock motor and shown the results....If you do...let us know.
Ive got 3 ready to go today for 96-04, 4.0 motors.
