Thanks! I follow a bit more, but what wire is it installed on?
Feel free to PM me. Don't want to stink up the thread with my lack of electrical knowledge.

The wire coming from the alternator goes to the fuse, that way everything from that point on is protected. From the fuse, it can either go to the battery or the PDC.

If I plan to only run about 150 or so amps from the alt, would 4AWG hold?
Also, I have a 91 and apparently have some kinda fusible link at the PDC. Does this matter? Appreciate the input!

Damn that is super tempting on the 4AWG. As in "Kevin you'd be a dumb*** if you didn't get these" tempting! If I plan to only run about 150 or so amps from the alt, would 4AWG hold? Also, I have a 91 and apparently have some kinda fusible link at the PDC. Does this matter? Appreciate the input!
The fusible link will be replaced with a fuse holder and two ANL fuses.
The 4 awg is good for up to 150 amps.

New registered user to the forum, but have been browsing on and off for years.
I've got a Warn Zeon M8 and am just starting to upgrade the electrical for it. Considering the 4 awg kit is good for up to 150 amps and most alternator upgrades are still under that, that kit should be sufficient, yes? I don't think I can put together a kit like this for much less, plus all the time involved.
Thanks!

Quick question: is there an improvement with the military terminals over the marine brass I have now? The pic won't load on mobile for some reason.
Two biggest issues I have with my brass terminals are that I had to kind of force them open more to accommodate my battery posts, and they also only have one post/wingnut for any wires meaning I have three prongs stacked on top of each other (power and two accessories).

I recently put military style terminals on it and I don't have to worry about the terminals coming loose.
And beside if I needed to take the battery out, it only take one wrench.
After all, you STILL would need a wrench to remove the hold-down clamp anyway.
