Aftermarket Center consoles. (XJ ONLY)
Im looking to see who might be interested in some aftermarket center consoles. I will be CNC cutting my own center console design for the Jeep XJ automatic transmission. I will have a CB mount and some cup holders and possibly an ipad mount but i can make different DIY kits if anybody who is interested in them.let me know an i can get a design ready. I will post some pictures of mine when i get the plates cut up. Just let me know what kind of accessories you would like to see. (switch panels, Ipad mount points ect.) Prices will depend on the type of steel you would like it made of. as of now i wont be welding them for people just because of the cost of shipping and space it would take up. Thanks for reading and any feedback.

I will only be doing pre 97 as of now also. if i can get my hands on a 97 console i will get something made for 97+ style to. I am still getting the CAD ready and getting it all set up and measured. I will build a demonstration console with all the options for reference. It will have a locking mechanism, gauge pod points, passenger cup holders, LED interior lighting for the box. i might add more later but as of now these are my options. The box will bolt to your floor and it will come with a special locking bolt kit to keep anybody from stealing it if you drive doorless. I am still welcome to ideas.

Def a CB mount of some kind would be nice. Mine might be a lost cause because it's so big, a cobra 148GTL. I'm more subbing in to see what other guys are interested in. I'm not in dire need lol

I had one of those Tuffy consoles for my 94 police package and it was awesome having a locking steel console.
I would suggest a single din sized hole (180mmx100mm) as an option somewhere. The cobra 148GTL is bigger than that so it won't help Jeepin'_Aint_EZ but there are ton's of CBs that fit in that size hole.

I will be making a demonstration model with every option. CB sizes will be taken into affect. Most of this is special order you will pick your options and when you place the order it will let you enter your CB size and how many switches you want on your panel.

I should have a majority of the CAD figured out tomorrow im running into issues with space i might have to make one with an ebrake relocation kit or something because the e brake takes up alot of space.

Not sure i can make it happen. If i was going to do it i would have to completely remove the E brake or i would not have room for anything. This makes it a hard item to sell because nobody wants to take out their e brake. Sorry guys maybe somebody else can make it happen but its not worth the materials and time for me.

I would have to look into it. My XJ is in the shop right now getting the stroker motor installed so i cant see how much room i have to work with right now. Im really close to scrapping the idea seeing as there are a few aftermarket console options. The pricing would be fairly expensive and the shipping will further kill it.
