I have 2 kits available.

I have now started charging $10 extra if you want a drivers side emergency brake cable for your '97+ XJ.

I have a question BD. I have a 96 XJ Country and am thinking of doing the swap out. I have the build sheet for my XJ and it says I have a Dana 35C/194mm rear axle. Is this a C clip or non C clip axle? Does the C in the designation indicate what it is? Thanks.

If the axle hasn't been swapped to the old style I'm gonna guess it a Dana 35c. The c designation probably does mean that. But I'm just taking a guess.

One way to be sure without removing the diff cover is to remove a wheel, drum & see if there is a hole in the axle flange between the studs. If no hole- it has c clips. If there is a hole you need to stick a socket in there & remove the 4 bolts that hold the axle in. You can use the drum as a makeshift slidehammer if needed. Flip it around backwards & start a couple of lug nuts to hold it on.

My XJ is a bone stock 96 Country 4x4. I'm certain the axle is original to the vehicle. I'd call the local Jeep dealership to confirm if it is a c clip or not but I don't trust them to do ****. They replaced the ignition switch on my WK because of a factory recall and now when I start it or shut it down the wipers go through a one cycle wipe. Pretty annoying.

Does the kit include a proportioning valve? I would be interested in a kit either way if or when they are available. 96 XJ shipped to 15545
