Finished the disk conversion. Brakes are mo betta. I cant stand drums, I had those on my 66 mustang and couldn't stand them then. Thanks Big Dave for the time and effort putting these kits together. I won't have to cringe next time I need to do something back there. From my understanding, It looks like my axle won't walk out if i snap one too. No matter how you look at it, definitely worth it.

Very welcomed. It's just too bad you have to put the wheels back on & hide all of that purdyness. LOL

One of the ZJ kits will not include pads. They were completely worn out.
I will start with Off Suit & continue down the list.

What is the advantage of the Liberty kit(s)? I'm up for $25 if it is a good reason. I likely will not need the cables so long as the MORE units fit. If they will not work for a liberty kit, than I will need a ZJ kit.

Wow, that does sound nice. Although mine wasn't difficult to put on, and it wasn't hard to grind out the back plates... that does sound worth it if you in the market for one.

Sad really. 'Cause you know the owner probably drove the wheels off the thing and then sold it to the junkyard because "it needs too much work".

A lot of car failure is plain negligence. I took one rear cover off & there was zero gear oil. The teeth on the ring and pinion were wore so much they weren't engaging each other.

I appreciate everyone's interest. But in all fairness I'll be contacting via PM from the top of the list to the bottom. Anyone not on the list will be waiting until next trip unless someone drops out.
I'll be more than happy to start a new list for the next trip.
