OK, great, I'll wait to hear from you on payment.

How much has to be removed from the ZJ backing plates to fit the 8.25 rear axle? Doable with a dremel and grinding stone?

About a 1/8 inch or so. Yes, very doable with a Dremel.

Getting the rust scale and smoothing the axle surface makes the amount taken off the backing plate minimal.

I'll be going in mid August. I have two spots available. If the parts are available on the yard I'll get them. No promises.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind and am looking forward to getting the upgrade done. I really hate drum brakes and the rear shoes on this thing are getting pretty thin.

You'll LUV it. Hardest part of the job for me was getting the old brake components off.

David I have a question...about the parking brake cable...you stated it came from a liberty for the passenger side...well I ordered one for a 2002 liberty. It is clearly the wrong one. Is there a specific year I need to be looking for? Thanks!

BTW, the rest of the install was like butter. SMMMOOOOTH, LOL....thanks again
