Just wanted to say thank you to Big David! It's been a while since I received my kit, but I finally got some time to install it. This is a great mod if you're on the fence about it. Braking is much smoother than with the drums.
Only problem I had during install was a rusted bleeder screw. Wouldn't have been an issue if I wasn't tired and not thinking, ended up destroying it and took a few hours to get fixed. Not Big D's fault, I was trying to rush through. I haven't installed the prop valve yet. Not sure if I need to, but since it is on the kit, I'll probably end up doing it at some point.
Thanks again David! If anyone wants to do this, buy your kit from this guy!

I've had my "Bed Bug Killer" Kit for a while now, I am going to get started on installing it as soon as my car/DD is out of the garage

No hate! LOL, I found it quite funny. Honestly, I haven't even picked the stuff out of the box yet. I just sadly glance over to the BBK box in my garage, hoping I'll be able to get started on it soon.
The good news is, my car will finally be fixed and out of my garage this week, and Wednesday is payday...so I think rotors and pads and misc supplies might happen and I can get started on this project Got the dremel stones already.

I painted them. You could get new calipers for ~$30 if you used the ones in the kit as a core, but they worked great out of the box so I didn't want to spend the extra cash. Kind of defeated the purpose for me.

I was planning on painting mine... even bought the brake paint. Just didn't do it. After I cleaned them up w/a wire brush, air hose and then brake cleaner, they looked good enough for me. I am however starting to notice rust dots around my 'new' rotors already and may hit them w/a coat of brake paint around the hub area and the part of the rotor that's 'not used' by the pads. Just to keep them looking nice.

Can anyone recommend a good pair of rotors for this job, that won't rust up like the Titanic after a few months? Or is that for another thread..? I might be purchasing them this week.
