Year: 2000 XJ
Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.8L Stroker
2000 XJ 4.7L stroker, lifted, lots of extras!
I am selling my baby.... We had to buy a newer, larger vehicle due to children and I do not want it sitting outdoors, and I just do not have the time to use it anymore like I want. Here is what I have. Located in Grayling Michigan.
6500$
2000 Green XJ Sport (Hopefully the photo link works)

Vehicle itself has 200,000 miles on it, but that is it. Pretty much everything else has been gone through. Here are the details.
4.7L 505 Performance Stroker, making approx 300 hp. I had the cracked head issue that nearly everyone with 2000 and 2001 XJ's have. I ripped that pile out and built up a 1994 block and head into a 4.7L Stroker. It is a brand new engine, has approx 6000 miles on it. I have babied it for most of its life but when you put your foot into it, you know it wants to run. I do not do any hard wheeling, mostly just sand dune running. The engine runs beautifully. It has a stage 1 cam, Keith Black Aluminum flat top forged pistons, a 505 Crankshaft, new lifters, new pushrods, new rockers, springs, valves, etc.... Its a brand spanking new engine. I had nearly 6500$ into the engine alone.
I have a Jeepers Creepers aftermarket aluminum oversized throttle body on the intake.
Ford Mustang 24lb 4 port fuel injectors
I have a polished stainless steel header on the exhaust.
New Magna-Flow stainless "catalytic converter"
New Borla 2.5" stainless exhaust system
Amsoil Performance air filter
New Mopar Crankshaft sensor
New Starter
New Battery
Transfer case was completely rebuilt and an Omix-Ada Slip Yoke Eliminator was installed
Tom Woods Custom Driveshaft
New Transmission Mount
Brown Dog Performance Motor Mounts
2 New Front Wheel Bearings (Less than 500 miles on them)
Rough Country 4.5" lift with full rear leaf packs and adjustable upper and lower control arms with Johnny Joints
Oversized steering stabilizer
ZJ V8 Upgraded steering set up
New Black powdercoated wheels with new BF Goodgrich Mud Terrain KM2's, with a spare, same wheel and tire. About 2000 miles on the tires, you can still see the paint on the tread from the factory.
JCR Gas Tank Skid Plate
JCR Crusader winch bumper with pre-runner hoop and 1 Ton D Rings
JCR Steering box Bracket
JCR Crusader rear bumber with spare tire carrier and swivel
JCR Lower Quarter Panel Armor
CB Radio and Fire Stik Antenna
Smitty Bilt 10k lbs winch, new, ever even used. This jeep doesnt get stuck....
VIAIR On Board Air system, with 2.5 gallon air taink
Now, I am sure there is more that I have forgotten to mention but that is the jist of it. Its very well built, I am a stickler for details and doing things right. I do not cheap out on stuff. The Jeep has some rust as most michigan vehicles do. The rockers show the worst of it, but I have a set of NEW OEM Rockers, that I will throw in with the deal, should be easy to change. I have cut hood vents on the hood to cool the engine as it runs warm when wheeling in the summer and just crawling through the trails. They look nice, not cobbled and hacked up. The cowling on the hood is broken, but I do have it, so if you wanted to replace it you can. It drives well, its a bit of a handful, but its got lots of power and loves the trails. It felt like some of the bushings may have loosened up on me last time I drove it, but I have a full set of new Johnny Joint bushings and a full set of MOOG control arm bushings that I will toss in with the deal.
The rear bumper and spare tire carrier had the coating start peeling this winter, it should be real easy to strip down and re-coat.
Feel Free to ask me any questions, Ill answer quickly and honestly. I can also send any additional pictures that you want. Thanks for looking.

Aaaarg. Why was this not for sale 2 months ago? I just put a new engine, brakes, few other things into my 00 Fern Green Metallic XJ, but was looking for a new engine or new jeep before biting the bullet to throw a new engine in.
Beautiful Jeep, great color. If you have any interest in parting out the rear bumper or gas tank skid lmk.
