hi every body i have a 1998 xj and found a motor and tranny out of a 1995 xj will they swap with no mods thank you any advice would be great

Yes, use the sensors and junk from the 98.

and can i pull engine and tranny at same time

Yes, if you remove the radiator, condenser, and header panel the engine and transmission will slide out with ease.

any thing recommended to do wile i got engine out

Water pump, timing chain, all new gaskets and seals, and clean the bujeezus out of it. A complete tuneup would be a good idea too.

the tranny has a different sensor at the front that the other doesn't have looks like hole was never cut out

I don't think the 95 transmission will work on your 98XJ. The electrical is different.

well i drilled out the hole for the 1st speed sensor on the 95 tranny and took out the sensor ring out of my other 98 tranny and put it in the 95 to correct the wiring hope it works got it in today still got some little stuff to hook back up tommarow

and i currently got neutral safety switch off trans but hooked up to start what else does it do do i need it back on tranny or can i just leave it under hood
