I've had both and it really depends on what you're using them for. The XTX is leaps and bounds better in the snow but, the BFG is better in the rocks. They are fairly equal in other aspects.

Really Depends on your wheeling. The BFG's A/T's are great all around and I highly recommend them for 80% on road 20% off road. However, if your more like 95% on road and 5% off road consider General Grabbers, they'll save you some cash and are effectively the same tire apart from a 2 vs 3 ply sidewall.

bought jeep to tow boat and maybe launch in from the beach .Not a daily driver and would like to go in the jersey pines every now and then,be lucky if it get driven once or twice a week.like the look of the big tire,I think the jeep looks better with a lift.I have a 3 " lift on it now and the stock tires get lost in the wheel well.some one gave me a a set of black d style 10.5 x 15 rims and would like the tires to fit them.

There is no tire at that lift that will fit those wheels properly.

Not totally true. Interco makes some 31x11.50 or 31x12.50 swampers.

Both of those sizes are still too narrow for a 10.5 wheel. A wheel that wide is only useful when you get the 14.5 or wider. If you put a 12.5 or 11.5 on a wheel that wide it will pop off really easy when aired down.

I have both-
General Grabbers- great value, good all around, available at Walmart
BFG All-Terrain- great quality, more expensive, good all around

Wild Country XTX- IDK, look just like an aggressive street tire. No name brand

Good choice on the 8" Black D style rims for your desired tire size.

I was told the wild country's are made buy cooper ...found a new set for only $500.00 I found a guy 5 miles from my house that has the black rims like new for only $100.00.picking them up this morning so for $600.00 I get new tires and rims.Bought a used 4.0 to rebuild for $200.00 and the guy was cool he gave me everything I need to lift the jeep for free.springs front and back. back leaf has extra leaf with the revolver shackles on them.. New long arms, adj track bar.I have been lucky so far.spending more on parts then I did on jeep.Only paid $650.for a 94 running jeep.has rotted rocker panel drivers side and the bald tires but other than that she runs great....This is a fun little truck.when I was younger a had a 1967 bronco pick up,miss that truck.
