Post what is better for the aw4

so i was looking at a few things to make my aw4 shift better so the 1st one is a just a basic valve body spring kit and its tempting but then there is also the baja v3 shifter both are around the same price but was wondering if anyone is running any of thease in their aw4 thanks

The AW4 is a very good trans in the stock mode. Only thing I would change is to an aftermarket transfer case shift linkage.

Clean fluid is the best bet, don't fix it if it ain't broken.

You can also tweak the throttle valve cable for more positive shifts.

I did that on mine and it grabs a lot better now. To get firmer shifts just push the adjuster back in about 1/16 to 1/8 inch.
