........ Redundant? You're only going to find the proper length by maxing flexing out and measuring. How do you not get this? Find a stomp, pile of tires, loading dock, etc... And flex and measure. You're trying to do this in a unconventional way that isn't accurate or working

They only make shocks so long per compressed length... Done it before, just messed up my first set of measurements.... I'll be ordering on Monday, some cheap white bodies

I just measured ride height minus bump stop height .... Same as compressing , I don't know why people don't understand...

Seriously though, how can you even think your method works when you don't know what lift it has, your shock won't be the proper length, your math doesn't prove anything other than your compressed length,(not really though) what about fully extended? Is it a short arm or long arm, and how is it easier? You flex it out and measure one side that's extended and go to the other and measure the compressed. As I said before, did you take into account that bumpstops compress also? So again your measurement are gonna be wrong.
