No they're not. Put a wrench on them and they'll thread out of the knuckle. Unless you welded them on.
LOL. Well I have two cherokees sitting here with welded stops. And have worked on tons of them with welded stops. Must be that welded stop gremlin at it again. Obviously though many are not welded.

Not saying of course that you can't replace the bolts. But in my opinion It's best to have a good turning radius and leave that part alone.

Not real sure what to tell you then. I promise that bolt isn't welded to the knuckle.

I should have clarified myself. The bolts are welded to the locking nut. My bolts would not budge. Yea I could have heated up the area. But if I really wanted to it it welding and or removing material would be easier for me than replacing frozen bolts.

Again I prefer to adjust with back spacing in this circumstance.

Default Steering stop

On my 1996 steering stops, the weld connects bolt to nut. It unscrews from the knuckle as an assembly.

Correct, same on my 99' as well. Hell maybe some were welded. Chrysler does some funny stuff...

Turned into. Get it? It's funny because we're talking about steering stops...

Sorry for the derailment. Buy RE, Clayton, or RK.
