Default Which shocks to buy

so I have a 97 cherokee with a 6.5 long arm rough country lift I noticed today after work that my rear right shock is blow out I'm wondering what shocks to go to now non rough country that will flex the same if not better any suggestions?

At 6.5" expect to spend some good money on shocks. Buy cheap and they'll be cheap. Buy quality and they'll last.

buy bilsteins 5100's. $320 to your door for a set of 4 and you'll have massively improved ride quality. bother with anything more expensive and you should really consider jumping up a tier or two to some nice 2.5's. but that's another story

shocks don't "flex" though. you should really do some research before trying to order better shocks or you're going to end up with the wrong size

You spent the extra money to go long arm, spend the extra $120 and get some quality shocks.

I didn't mean to flex I meant the amount of down travel I want a good shock I am fully prepared to spend the money for a good shock I was just looking at a billstein set

I have bilstein 5125s. Have served me well. Definitely take measurements so your extended/collapsed are where you need them to be.

Basically measure it on a lift no sway bar attached that is its max length

No, you need to flex the suspension on on RTI Ramp or anything similar.
