recommendations on a new rear drive shaft for a 2wd xj lifted 6.5 in?

Yes they are in the same place in the frame as a 4wd

If shops can shorten a shaft why cant you make one longer? Like get another shaft out of a 2WD so its the same size and join them lol

they do, cut ends off install longer tube reweld done...

Slice on the slip yoke and the othee end and new tube makes more sense
