recommendations on a new rear drive shaft for a 2wd xj lifted 6.5 in?

I gotcha... Ive had the same question before just never posted... Idk what all there is to do other than a TC drop, but thats only an inch... Ask x91j what is driveshaft looked like at 4.5 inches like how much more his slip yoke had to come out before he went 4WD. Hes pretty knowledgeable about that

There is a thread somewhere called pics of lifted 2WD's or something to that effect and there was a guy running a 6.5 inch lift but i think he was 4WD with a 2WD front axle idk though... Might have to be a pioneer in this subject haha

No i think his jeep was 4WD, he got in a wreck, replaced the front axle with a 2wd one for some reason and never put anything back... So idk if he did a SYE or not. Yeah i really dont know what to do other than to find a longer one from something

Engine: 12 hole bosch Injectors
dont think length is going to be the issue as much as angle going to be id order some shims and deff install a tc drop. Does the lift your buying come with shims all ready on rear spring pacs ?

And no i ordered the iro 6.5 kit and i dont belive they are pre shimed

yay its called a tc drop should be same crossmember as 4wd i have never paid attention to a 2wd set but your never gonna find a tranny drop kit ...i would order shims then ...are you planning on converting to 4wd or leaving 2wd?

look at link it does come with drop shackles that will pitch the rear yoke up some .Are you sure the 2wd crossmember mounts in same location as 4wd if not long arms with new crossmember wont be in same location as crossmember is now to mount tranny back.
