Yes I had vibes at 4.5" and still got them at 4" after I installed the sye the vibes are almost gone, still need shims.

Everything is installed except for the adjustable track bar from JKS. So far I am VERY happy with the way it is turning out. ok gonna try to put up some pictures. All I have left to do is paint and intall the three factory skids and the Yakima fairing. Other than that it is pretty much done. I got right at 3.25 inches of lift all the way around and that is with the ACOS at it's minimum lift and the third leaf out of the pack. I also gained about an inch out of the tires. This thing rides EXCELLENT and with the 4.11 gear ratio it has plenty of power. I am very pleased with the way it turned out.

Looks awesome, man! Like the attention to detail on the axles. Already time for relocation brackets?

How's the vibe situation? Or are you good to go without changing anything?

Thanks. It turned out pretty much exactly where I wanted it to. EVERY single piece in that front axle is brand new. I went with tru-tracs front and rear as it will only see mild trail riding and most of the 4x4 time will be in snow. I have put about 100 miles on it since installation and I only have very slight vibes when NOT under load. I get just a little when I let off the gas as I approach a light etc. I am going to give it a few more miles and then probably go ahead with an SYE kit. I have a spare front driveshaft already and a set of 4 degree shims.

Default Finally got it installed!

Hi Guys,

So I finally got her in the air! Unfortunately, the rear end is clunking over just about every other bump and dip in the road, and I have some minor vibes from about 10 to 30mph (give or take). Any idea's on the clunky rear?

Here's a picture for your viewing pleasure. I didn't get her all cleaned up, but I'll probably post a couple more pics when everything is good and the finish touches are taken care of.

If i had to guess i would say it's the shackles hitting the one of the bolts for the rear bumper...at least on mine it does.

Too lazy to fix...right now.

thanks for the compliments guys. So far so good. I don't any clunking going on but I would guess a loose bolt somewhere. Maybe a shock bar pin?

Drama, from the pics, it looks like you used new bolts on the shackles, but did you get new bolts for the front leaf spring eyes or use the factory ones? I ask because I used all my factory hardware as it was fine, but they weren't a tight fit in the front leaf spring eye.

TFitz I used the original bolts in the front of the springs. I used new bushings front and rear as well. Everything fit well. I also used anti seize on everything when it went back together.

Right, I used new bushing as well that came with the everything from DPG. I actually talked to Dirk about the front bolt, and he said that it was normal for there to be slack between the front bushing eye, and bolt. I'm thinking of getting bigger bolts, and getting that welded nut inside the frame out of there. It's just a pain in the but to deal with.

Since we are on the topic, what size bolts did you get for the lower shackle bolt? I assume you went and grabbed grade 8 bolts instead of going to the deal for the factory ones.
