Have you tried dynamic balancing in your tires? Have you bent a rim? I know my wobble was terrible because I somehow bent ALL of my rims.... I don't know don't even wheel it hard.... Anyways just throwing out ideas

It's no matter what, death wobble after 40mph to about 50mph then it's smooth.
But the wobble is horrible. I'm not driving it until it's fixed or I'm testing it.

Thanks though, I appreciate all the advice I can get right now, just stumped really. Hoping stiffening up that steering box will help

Y'all, I really hate to be posting on this thread again, cause Y'all know what that means...yep, it's back. And worse than ever. Also, sorry to the OP, I have taken over this thread completely lol.
I'm not even driving my xj right now it's so bad. Uncontrollable death wobble like you have never seen before. came back after my last wheeling trip. Before any of yall ask, I have changed the toe in toe out 3 times experimenting with .25" toe in to .5" toe out. Tire pressure from 20psi to 35 psi.
Tightened every single bolts and jam nut.
Here's the bad part, it's starting to crack my frame
Little now but it will get bigger. I can see the frame flex when I have someone turn the wheel when I'm under it. Gonna put a inner brace on and a brace from the shaft to the passenger frame rail.
Frame flexing couldn't cause dw right?
The only other thing I can think of is one of my inserts for the one ton tre is a TINY bit wobbly(the one at the pitman arm) I'm gonna have it welded in but I really don't think that's the problem. Everything else unbelievabley is still super tight even through the hell my dw puts them through.
Here's a pic of the finished ota track bar and steering by the way

The jeep is unsafe to drive right now and it's my only transportation other than a motorcycle right now(which sucks cause it's cold as *****)
I need some help here yall, completely lost in what to do...ANY advice is much appreciated!

Toe should be no more than 1/8" inward. 0" if you have a 242 transfer case and use 4-FullTime.
Do you have another set of 4 tires to try?!

Chased my DW for a long time and nothing. Finally changed the tires to another set I had, and DW is gone. BAD TIRES. 32" MTRs and big pot holes at speed busted them up.

Man I feel your pain! I am going through the exact same thing right now with my girlfriends WJ. It seems I have tried every single thing you can do it too. I've been following this thread closely to see if I am missing something as well.

Road force balanced fine, issue was the cover for the balancer meant the tech couldn't see the tread runout. A different tech pointed the issue out amd showed the the tread variance. At a slow spin it was obvious my tires were my main vibration issues, same deal... Slight Wobble started about 90km/h and died off at 120km/h ... Hit the right bump in that speed range and blammo Death Wobble and a skidmark... On the seat and the road.
Picked up some new (to me) tires and now I just have a slight vibration due to pinion angle in the rear. Easy and less harrowing to deal with.
My experiences with the XJ, made sorting out the MJ much faster. Quick driveway alignment and a balance check was all it took. Now I add a quick roundness check to my used tire purchases. Old tires have been relegated to trailer duty and garage tires for the XJ.
