Neon Injectors (784's ??) not sure and wont go in
Bought these of a person this forum, told me they were 784's I cant find that number any where on them, do I have the right injectors for a 2000 4.0
Do i have the right ones, and if so what am I doing wrong installing them. I really would hate to find out that these are indeed the wrong ones, $55 shipped, and they aren't a simple bolt in.

The last 3 digits are 784. I can see them in the 2nd pic. You also have the oring in the wrong place and are missing the pintle caps. Just pull the caps off your old injectors and pop them on the new ones. The oring then goes just behind the pintle cap....NOT in the groove you currently have it in.
EDIT* I lied, dont use the pintle caps off your old injectors. Upon a second look, they dont look the same as what should be there.

Yepper, I fail......fighting with the damn things for 30-40min because I didn't want to look stupid, so I finally post, and as I was waiting for everyone that responded to respond, I figured that I had the o-rings in the wrong spot, FAIL for me...
Thank you all for your help though. it was a simple bolt in once I removed the ID10DOT error that I was getting....

Haha no problem man. The way those things are designed, it's very easy to assume that's where the oring goes. Make sure you reset your computer as well. I made that mistake and didnt reset it and it killed my mpg because it was trained for the old injectors.

The correct procedure for resetting the computer is the following:
1) disconnect positive cable
2) touch positive cable to negative cable for 30 secs
3) reconnect positive cable
4) turn key to on position but do not start
5) turn on head lights
6) turn off head lights
7) turn key off
That completely resets the computer back to factory presets. It will then re-learn everything over the first 50 warm-up cycles.

Is that the correct way to reset the computer, I just find it hard to believe that the head lights would have anything to do with it, and something about crossing the battery cables just doesnt seem right. Anyone else have insight on this.
Im not saying you dont know what you are talking about but, I am very nervous to do those steps and cook something.
