Does anyone know of a jeepspeed complete long travel suspension kit with all components needed (minus SYE) that has shocks and everything and complies with jeepspeed rules? The only kits I can find also include rollcages, window nets, and that pure race jazz. I just want the suspension with shocks and all brackets and hardware for it.

What are you trying to achieve with this? Jeepspeed suspension is not something you say, oh I just want that. shocks alone could run you 20K.

Well a system that could easily incorporate jeepspeed ruled shocks i.e. Radflow 3" no bypass or 2.5" w/bypass

I just want to start building my suspension so I can go through whoops faster than 15 without feeling like a jackhammer. There's a lot of trails out where I live that are higher speed whoopy trails instead of rock crawling. I'm more interested in speed than crawling.

Well.... Thats a Good reason. Check out
T & J performance.com for some info and ideas. I kinda went that direction with mine, but ultimately settled on a happy medium. Deaver coil springs and bilstein 7100's up front.. I don't have hydro bumpstops, but considered em. Deaver leaf pack in back, but i don't wanna cut the back for a shock loop like jeepspeed. This helped a lot for the whoops. If you go all out I think your road drive quality will drop dramatically. There's just so much you could do for da' whoops!

I'm running the bilstein 7100's with resorvoir and custom fab upper lower shock mounts which are much stronger than stock. The lower mount will eventually be tied into the body stiffener and sliders. I have currie control arms with RE drop brackets. All steering components are currie as well. This is jeepspeed similar but not full on and did help alot with whoops. If you plan on beating your jeep I say get the hydro bumpstops as well. Steering box brace, stronger lower control arm axel mounts, diff cover.... I guess the list can go on and on. I say start with coils and shocks and go from there. That website I referred to earlier is a good jeepspeed reference. That's what they do. Not sure what else you have in mind, hope this helped.

Your not gonna find a kit that comes with shocks for going fast, they just don't make kits like that except T&J's which is the one I think your talking about in your first post. The best thing to do is piece together your suspension parts. If I was going to buy a long armis kit I would call full traction and see if I could buy there long arm kit without coils or leafs and then buy deavers coils and leafs. Whats going to help you most when going fast is your coils/leafs and shock valving. Spend a day with whatever shock company you end up buying from and you will be amazed at what they can do to your suspension handling in the whoops.

Is your jeep already caged? If not I would strongly suggest caging it. **** can hit the fan so much faster at speed I wouldn't even think about going fast without a cage in my jeep.

The only way shocks will cost him 20kthe is if he's running more than 1 shock per wheel, which I doubt he is as he's looking for a kit and I don't know of to many kits that come with links for the rear.

Glad I could help. Another thing is most jeepspeed run a 10" or 12" shock up front and in order to mount them with a decent amount of up travel your gong to need to move your lower shock mount down a little bit.

Bilstein 7100's w/ 12" travel up front. Modified position for up travel.

Probably put some 33" BFG all terrains on.

And I haven't found which SYE I should run, I was going to ask for your opinions. Cheapest possible please!

99% of SYEs are all the same. i'm running rock krawler's 4 link, deaver coils and leafs, 10" travel 2.5 9100s up front and 12" travel 2.0 9100s through the floor in the back. the FT kit is a really nice setup, i was back and forth between that and RK but settled on RK bc i really like their hard joints. if i had to do it again i probably would have built my own links but whatever. for the 7100s get 360/80 valving up front, and 275/78 out back. thats a good place to start.

idk if you copied that suspension list from FT's site, but def get their whole "kit" with the progressive leaf packs.

What leaf pack is the soft ride pack? Sounds like a good start, I agree with the valving 93xj suggested. Im bought a porc sye and im happy with it, its only $160.

don't know if i'm a rare case, but i installed the RC 4.5 kit, full leaf pack, t case drop, and NO SYE.

don't have a single vibration or shimmy. truck got down the road @ 70mph, without missing a beat.

it did take me 7 hrs to install the kit, and make sure everything was dialed in and aligned, but i'm really particular.

Do i still have to drop the case with the SYE?

And how much travel could I probably get without cutting through the floor?
