Default IRO Dbl sheer trackbar Install problems

I am having the hardest time lining up the bolts to install the double sheer track bar bracket on the frame. They don't naturally line up though they're really close. There just isn't any flex in the parts to allow me to pry to get the bolts to line up. Does anyone have experience with this install to give me pointers on how to install the double sheer bracket?

Also, the double sheer end for the track bar isn't powder coated. It is raw metal. Is that an issue?

Thanks,
s

Should I keep trying to pry to take up this gap?

Make sure that the other bolts aren't fully tightened until you get them all in. That might help some.

x2 took me a while to line up that bracket as well, that nut right behind the coil was a major pita to tighten down

Ended up getting it but man was it a PITA. I set the top first and pounded the bracket, nearly shredding a 2x4 in the process. All is plumbed up now.

I've seen several people on this forum complain about difficulty lining up the IRO bracket. Some folks had to redrill the holes or send the bracket back for another one. Bare metal is definitely an issue, will cause rust. If I were you, I would send it back.

I bought the Rough Country double sheer a couple months ago. I know several have complained about the quality of Rough Country. Their double sheer track bar is good quality. The bracket bolted to the frame easy, no fighting. The bar is beefy, bushings look good. Time will tell of course.

Rubicon express bracket bolted up without any issues at all. That's crazy how much those holes are off! Unacceptable in my book. Would have been sending it back for a new one/refund.

Is your unibody bent at all? My friend installed one of those about a year ago and it went in without any issues (IRO + 99' Cherokee). Maybe someone botched the spacing on the holes?

Because telling him he got a bad one was helpful too right?
The advice was already given.

Ditto I also purchased RCs dbl sheer bar everything installed quickly and easily , I wanted a bar that I could adjust on the car, they fit the bill.

I had issues with my IRO trackbar bracket, a big part of it was the Frame Stiffeners I installed fault, I ended up grinding the hole a little, so I decided to clean up a few spots and put a couple of welds on the bracket as well.
