He doesn't want to buy steering. What makes you think he's going to spend the money needed to do the WJ swap? Between heims, bungs, knuckles, brakes, DOM, Unit bearings and the other steel for OTA Track bar bracket and unit bearing spacers he's going to be WAY higher than just ghetto fabing some poop pipe steering.

No need. Gravity is reduced at that height. Therefore, there will be less strain on the drivetrain.

5" lift blocks? Good lord... I don't even see how anything described in this thread is safe or smart. I don't mind building the vehicle you want, but for something this half assed, give up before you get someone hurt. If you can't afford to do it right either don't do it or save money till you can.

The problem with steering systems out there when I was searching was never could get a deff answer if it would fit any lifts over 8 inch. I was the first to the best of there knowledge to do it with ORO U-TURN.Getting Tres and moly might be the only way of doing a set up at 10s of lit. And stay in the budget build idea your trying. I figured by the time I did it Id be in the same cash area after factoring everything in .So I just bought it on sale and quadratec matched free shipping.

Holycaveman was also on another thread telling some dude that if you wheel your jeep, you don't need a track bar ar 4.5" or control arms, but if you mall crawl then you need that stuff. Where was lowrange during that one? Lol

Hate I missed it. Looks like it was deleted since it's not in his recent posts.
