Seems simple enough. All plug and play minus mounting the relays and grounds.

Good catch. It's the same part number on both sites, so I'm guessing maybe one of them just used a stock photo of a different harness, or maybe it changed in appearance at some point. Hopefully they're the same because I think I'm going to order the one from Amazon, can't beat that price.
I bought a set of the Autopal's from rimiinc on eBay Sunday night, hope I get them soon. Oddly enough, Monday morning I noticed my passenger side headlight is cracked all the way across... guess I decided to replace them just in time.

Got my Autopals in and I just had to update this thead to say they work awesome! So much brighter and the e-code beam pattern is more like that of a newer car, without big dark spots in it like the old sealed beams. I can actually see what's right in front of the Jeep now, should be great for dodging all the critters that like to scurry right into my path on the backroads.
I'll probably do the writing upgrade soon just to hopefully makes the lights that last bit brighter. I just went with the basic 55/60W bulbs the Autopals come with btw, no complaints there, the light output is strong and quite a bit whiter than I expected.

They work fine without the harness, but you have no idea how much BETTER they work with the harness and you eliminate the possibility of melting down your headlight switch and it's plug!!!

I ended up going with the go.jeep-xj.info DIY method for my harness. I honestly could have saved a few bucks going with the Putco but I didn't have time to wait on shipping.
Headlamp - IPF Fatboy II 80/60 (195/150 equivalant output)
Housing - IPF H4 Conversion
Harness - 10 GA DIY
I ran this setup minus the harness for a couple of months. I didn't notice anything at the time, but when I pulled the headlamps out to upgrade, my stock harness had already started to discolor severely from overheating. You can't even compare the light output from stock wiires to the upgraded ones, it's easily 2x more and the light is almost pure white. I'll post a pic of the cuttoff pattern later on.

Thanks for posting that. Many people can't grasp how important the harness is, or what an improvement it makes.
The headlight switch and it's plug are usually the weakest links.
