Something I've notice to be different between the two (outside of the dimensions) is that with Napier the front flare sits higher, right below that body line that runs the length of the jeep. Where the Bushwackers sits a little lower. I think the Bushwackers make things a little more "uniform" so to say.

But that's just me noticing ****. I'm sure you'd be plenty happy with either set!

I like the fact that the Napiers don't stick out as far, but I hate the fact that they require so much more trimming of the front fenders. I wish they made a less extreme set that sit about where the Bushwhackers do. I'd be all over them. I'll probably end up with the Bushwhackers.

Hey guys, thanks for all the positive comments! There are some $50 off coupon codes for our Flares on the internet. There are also some pretty good install videos. Here's one installing our Flat Flares from BleepinJeep!

Wheeling out here in the Southwest desert, I've only ever wished I had fender flares once.

the wife wanted me to install a set so the jeep will look "cooler". on my last run I was up against a wall, dragging my mirror, and at that point I realized I would probably loose them if I had a set installed. but they do look "cooler".

Our flares can handle a fair amount of abuse, but if dragging the side of your XJ across the rocks is your wheeling style then plastic fender flares won't last too long! I don't use fender flares on my trails only XJ for that very reason. It does have our Hood Vents on it though! lol

Having a tough time choosing. I'm not crazy about the look of flat flares but all the others seem to be way too wide for my tires. Anything bushwhacker looking that dont extend 4"+

Any information you guys have would be great...as I'm installing these myself. Thank you
My xj...as you can see needs flares
Check your PMs. I have a new-in-box set of Bushwacker Flats available, and I'm near Boston.

Cheers

You might be interested in Napier Precision Products. Our flares extend out just over 3" which is perfect to cover the most common tire/wheel setups that XJs use.
