Default Experiance with rough stuff 1ton stearing ?

So I am getting ready to install rough stuffs 1ton Y link kit and need to know if I color match ( 1 blue on eather end ) or 1 of each ( 1 red and 1 blue ) ? See pics as I am having trouble describing what I am trying to say hahahaha

You need to have one right hand and left hand turn on the tie rod part same for drag link. So that when you turn one way it spreads and when turned the opposite it collapses

The instructions should have part numbers to show what goes where. The color of the thread savers is immaterial. It's not in the equation. It's just what they were using that day. For both, one will be left hand thread and one right. You'll know when you thread them in the adjusting sleeves.

ruffstuff uses little slits on the tube insert to signify LHT / RHT. the inserts that have slits on them are LHT and the completely smooth ones are RHT. so that makes your bottom picture the correct setup

I think most everyone does that.

Count me in to Atmos! I bought the 7/8 heim set-up and was laying out the LH and RH bungs so as not to get them messed up for welding. Then I read your post and checked them out and sure enough, you were spot on. Good info. to have and save some time to boot!
