control arm drop brackets are they necessary?
I have a rc 4.5 x flex im installing sat do I really need control arm drop brackets?

4.5" is questionable. Im at 6.5 and it rides crappy and limits droop. I think 4.5 is fine but anything more you need them. so on to my next point... um, if your not gonna use em, pm me and Ill buy them from you

i already installed my RC 4.5 kit. it came with bent/longer lower control arms. i kept the uppers stock. the ride quality is not horrible but i dont mind a stiff ride. haven't had a chance to wheel it yet, but thinking i probably wont need the drop bracket will I??

if the arms are for a 4.5 lift you canget away with out them if there stock replacements use the brackets its that simple

exactly. I believe you should have arms anyway if your gonna wheel it. you WILL need to correct the front end geometry, so either longer arms or the brackets, or both. but at least one

lower arms that are longer than the OE ones - adjustable LCA's are the probably the best way to do this without going to a long arm setup. Adjustable LCA's will allow you to "fine tune" the location of the front axle and make sure it's exactly centered.
