Default Driveshaft with 6.5" lift and SYE

I am going to be installing a 6.5" LA on my '00 XJ soon, and just have a few questions about the rear driveshaft. My jeep has the np231 t-case and chrysler 8.25" rear end, i will be buying the advance adapters SYE, and was wondering if i can use a stock front DS from a 4.0 auto XJ? I have read a few conflicting posts about whether or not an XJ front DS will work with 6.5" lift. If not, will a DS from a ZJ work? My XJ is my DD and no vibes and a good ride are really important, so i want to do this right. Thanks

XJ is too short, ZJ is iffy at best.

Works fine.
Plenty people use them up to 8"

I bought a new one for my XJ on eBay from a driveshaft shop for $190. I was well pleased with it, Spicer joints and good balance.

Hard to beat his prices anywhere and I had it 4 days after I ordered.

5.5 LA on mine. Same setup as you. Stock xj was too short. Running a ZJ now. there are some splines showing, but still has plenty of room to compress and extend. So far so good.

I will save you the headache and troubles
I have a 231, 8.25 , auto with terraflex sye.
I just got a 33.5 collapsed length zj ds and it's too long .
I need a ds that's roughly 32" collapsed.
Our xj fronts are a little over 31"
