Drive line vibration question
I just recently got my lift kit installed. 3 inch rough country in the front with 3.5 inch new pro comp leafs in the rear. I have drive line vibrations now amd I know I need either a SYE or a tranny drop kit, but my question right now is, I need to drive about 300 miles this holiday season and I don't have the money to do either right now. Is it dangerous or how bad is it for the vehicle to drive that far on the highway with the vibrations?

Worse the further and faster you go... it really depends on how bad the vibes are. Could cause no problems if it's just minor, could break the transfer case if they're really bad.
So you didn't see any of the posts warning about needing a transfer case drop or SYE eh? lol
Let's see a picture of the driveshaft and pinion.

What salad said. But...
You could pickup new crossmember bolts and washers for ~$15 at the hardware store and reduce the impact. In fact Ive run this way for a couple years at 4.5-5". I do have degree shims on the leafs but at your height you can skip them until later.

Okay...it's not that I really can't afford it if I absolutely needed it, it's that it is so close to xmas and I have a lot of other things I could use that money for. Family before toys right? That's why I'm asking how seriously it needs to get done. From the responses, it sounds as though I should not drive it long distance until I get it fixed.
