Default D30 HD Ball Joints

need to replace at least the uppers. Can't decide if I should just get a good set of replacement ones from the parts store or spend the extra and get an actual set of heavy duty ones.

I've sold a lot of both.
Spicers hold up well but AlloyUSA are beefy and come with a 5 year warranty.

I've been looking at the alloy usa ones but have seen some reviews that give me concerns about quality issues.

Want some solid advice.... do upper and lower while you are there. Also do the axle shaft u joints. You will have it all apart anyways. No sense in putting used wearable parts back on

Pick a product and you'll always find someone that has a complaint. It's the nature of the business....any business.

Do HD ball joints ride any differently than a stock joint? ie harshness or noise?

No, they do not affect ride quality. They are simply stronger and hold up better to wheeling than OEM balljoints.

I definitely understand that one. I have seen it first hand myself.

I bought the Alloy-USA kit. They are awesome. I was going through a couple a year from the parts store (MOOG, Precision, Duralast, even Spicer). The Alloy ones have been awesome- Havent had to touch them other than to grease all 4.

The Spicers have held up very well for me and as already mentioned do both upper/lower and u-joints while its all apart, labor is the B*tch on these jobs.
