Default On Board Air Conversion Gets Really Hot

Any one on here who did the AC compressor mod for on board air. Does your pump get really hot? Mine gets hot enough to burn my hand, it seems well lubed but I'm not sure what normal is here.

What pump? The AC compressor or the electric air compressor?

they will get hot but you don't want it to be smoking like it is burning up, most important is the lubrication.

Mine gets hot to the touch. Doesn't seem to hurt it. Only run it when you need it.
