winning!
I wish I had written down the Reibes part # but I never did. I just went in, bought my spicers then asked if they had any snap rings. they handed me a box full and I started sifting through it. I sat the original 3/4 clips on top of the full circle ones until they lined up.
let me know if anyone finds a good part #. I'll add it to the write up
or you can buy them through a yukon distributor. and seriousoffroad may carry them as well http://www.yukongear.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=14
after some googling I found this pic. they're from home depot

I did a climb that I watched 3 rigs back to back break lol, that's when I loosened the joints and smashed my rockers a bit, no real breakage though so the ol Cherokee showed em up!
Good to know about the 44s, if I could get my 30 sold for a decent price(4.88s and powertrax) I would consider picking one up.
On another note, looks like my crappy duralast ball joints (brand new lol) got loose on the same ride.
Never want to have to change em again so I'm thinking alloy USA.
Any recommendations for ball joints guys?

Ordered Spicer ball joints from serious! Best price around
Ordered 5-760s from dennys drive shaft. 20$ a pop. Getting full circle clips.
Found a 95 Cherokee with the front shafts at the yard. Gonna build those with the new parts and keep my other 297x shafts as spares.

this thread has been a cherokee forum success. OP has question, helpful replies are posted, OP takes the advice, then buys from a CF vendor

The metric variety are thicker than the SAE rings and better match the stock 3/4 clip thickness almost exactly.
Can't remember the ID off hand but I can measure when I get back home after Wednesday. Might be a little harder to source in the US though.

GIve it about a month or two still, and Revolution will have their new D30 front axles out. They are the only D30 TJ/XJ shaft kit that will have the JKD44 sized ujoints, which are larger than any shaft kit ujoints currently available.
He will also be releasing his JKD44 ujoints. When both his shafts and ujoints are bought and ran together, you get a 25yr warranty.
Check with me at later date(s) and I will give you updates, if you really want to upgrade and not waste 1100$ on RCV's. They should be about 1/2 that.

What??? Who is making these shafts? I'm very interested if the price is where you think it will be!
