Best tread wear for a mud tire
so im bout to get some new tires, goin 33x12.50. i been bangin my head against the wall and spent the last three weeks researching tires but cant decide. tryin to get a poll on what mud tire has a decent treadlife/bang for the buck. i like the dunlop mud rovers, but heard the side wall is thinner than the olson twins. she's my daily driver, otherwise i wouldnt care about treadlife...so. I figure i would ask my fellow jeepers, whatcha think

Im running mickey Thompson Baja mtz 's and love them. Clean out great in mud and snow. I've got about 15000 miles on them and can't hardly tell it. Xjs are lightweight so they will last a long time. Haven't dun much on rocks but hear there great there too.

Get some Wrangler Duratracs. Those things are the perfect hybrid, I couldn't classify them as an A/T or an M/T, but something mean in between. Rated for snow, and does WELL in snow on top of just having the stamp. If you've got to have an M/T though, those Mud Rovers can last a long, long time.

Go to treadepot.com for the lowest price too. I shopped everywhere for them and I got them from Texas to NJ in 2 days. Wow, I just sounded like one of those reviews boards comments. lol!

If you're looking for a good off-road tire for a good price, I'd recommend a Michelin Military Surplus tire. I've always had lots of luck with them, they're great in mud, and don't wear out as quickly as most on road driving. You can usually pick them up pretty cheap at an army surplus store.

Destination MT's are the best rated buy consumers. They say they are quit with vary long tread life and they look to perform ok for a weekend worrier. I run TSL's because if you don't your SOL. lol I really run LDB's but that is a sweet quote. Forgot were I saw it though.
