Help Me Identify Lift
So I got lucky when looking for an XJ and came across an already lifted pretty much good to go mudding truck, for only 2 grand, couldn't pass it up. Anyway, the guy that sold me it knew all about it, since he built it for mudding. I already knew quite a bit, and it made sense and checked out with me. He said it has a 4-4.5'' lift. I didn't question it or really care, since I planned on going a bit higher anyway. I'm now wondering if it's truly a 4'' lift or what. It appears to be lifted a bit, since I'm a pretty tall guy and it's a little tricky getting in.
I've attached some pics to hopefully help. I measured from the middle of the hub to the fender, and am getting about 22''. I also have a picture of the coil upfront and the leafs in back.
Edit: The guy I bought it from said the front has a hybrid Rubicon Express in the front and bastard packs in the rear. With 1'' coil packs in the front to compensate for the extra weight of the steel bumper. The lift all around is 4.25''.

well it is a AAL or bastard pack in the rear looks like you have 3" of lift in the rear
the front and a 1-1.5" spacer going by your tape measure it looks like 1.5-2.5" of lift in the front it is hard to tell where you are measuring from... but it SHOULD be from CENTER of the hub to bottom of the flare... but I can not tell because you are at a weird angle and you are not starting the tape at 0...
or better yet from top of the axle tube the bottom of the 'frame'
on the front it should be anything over 6.75"
on the rear it will be anything over 6"
so measure it and let us know...
you seem to have some aftermarket sway bar disconnects... please get a nice pic of them... they look interesting...
ALSO please take a picture of the control arms...

And sorry for the shoddy pics. It's hard to hold a tape measure steady with one hand and take a far enough back picture with the other.
I'll take some more pics when I go out later tonight. The front sway bar is made to quickly disconnect. I got a chance to actually try it out recently and it's just removing the two pins on each side, and the tubing that connects the bar. Very fast and easy.
