You can just see the muffler just under the rockers

better shot.

Close up of location in springs on both sides.

Going to do something like this to my 96 2dr. It will be getting a Magnum V8 maybe this next spring, so I don't want to spend tons of $$ on the 4cyl just to toss it all..

Did you also want pics of the Comanche's exhaust?

Could be because you where posting vendor related things outside of the vendor section.

Vendors can advertise in the vendor section and no where else on the site. Vendors may also advertise by posting to the official facebook group page. In the Wanted section if a member is looking for something you are welcome to post up you offer said product. How ever do not spam the thread simply post up you offer said product and PM me for details.

Ah, someone asked what the coupon code was so I answered, didn't think that was against the rules as I was not advertising a product. My Bad.

Gotta be by pm. Frank aka seriousoffroad ignored and disobeyed the rules too long. Kinda screwed it up for the rest of you. He was removed and now the rules are being enforced.
Not going to give you guys infractions for a couple slip ups. That's why it was simply removed.

I have a 91 Cherokee replacing factory exhaust with 2.5 Hi flow cat and a thrush Turbo muffler, my question is that my new set up is way shorted than stock, should I but a spacer between can muffler to make up space or make the space on either end and should I put a piece of flex pipe on there

Everyone states a length of flex toward the exhaust mani is best.

Glass pack/cherry bomb is a economical way to get an aftermarket sound but I vote for a Super 40 Flowmaster. Also, there's no substitute for custom bent and welded pipe over flex.

Yeah but the cherry bombs or generic equivalent make them sound like rice burners IMO. You can pick up a thrush turbo muffler for 30 bucks at your local autozone and it sounds way better.

I'd go back to straight piped before I went with a through-style glasspack.

Just put one of the Thrush Glasspacks on my 99 XJ and I love the sound. Very deep. Not ricey in the slightest. + only $30. Definitely the way to go

The straight tube looking ones, or the chambered oval muffler?

1998 XJ 4.0 AW4. Anyone had any issues with a CEL after installing a 2.5" Thunderbolt spun cat.? About to finally pull the trigger on one so I can finish my exhaust. Just wanted to make sure you guys had good results, and no CEL. Thanks

Anyone ever try a 18 or 24" magnaflow straight tube type muffler?
How is the sound? Not too loud?
Easy install?
Thanks.
