I run 32s on 3.55s.... plenty of power and whatnot for me. I do everything from DD, to regular trails, to climbing. Only time it really "hinders" anything is when I'm in OD and I approach a hill.... it will bog down unless I kick it down for it to kick out of overdrive.

That's Florida. My experience was absolutely awful here in Maryland. There's a "mountain" (foothills) just outside of town, and truckers blew their horns while passing me each time I drove up it. That was with 33s
Another dumb one, don't 3.55 come stock? And if not what does? I have 32's right now and I don't see an inch being that big of a deal. I just wanna know what people get away with and dont.

Did yoooouuuuuu ever think of kicking it out of overdrive? 4th gear, or even 3rd gear should have been plenty enough gear ratio to keep up with the flow of traffic... c'mon man.

Upgrade 3 inch lift to 4.5 inch lift.
Hey have a question. Currently have basic procomp 3 inch lift lower control arms es300 shocks 3 inch springs up front and went with the s-10 bastard pack in the rear. Want to upgrade to a 4.5 inch lift. What parts will have to be changed other than the coil springs up front. I'm sure I will have to lower the transfer case and maybe track bar relocation. What else do you guys think I will need.

Well that will save a step good. What about the track bar. The 3 inch lift had one and I put it on. Would I need a bracket for the larger lift? Also I still have the stock gears. I don't get to crazy with it just use it on my deer lease . Really rocky and I need more ground clearance. Trying to fit 33 inch tires will I have to gear up?

It's recommended that you re-gear for 33s, absolutely. BUT, you don't HAVE to. If you're trying to maintain highway speeds up hills though, you're going to have a very difficult time on 33s with 3.55s

If it's a hunting rig only, don't sweat the gears at all. I was running 33s for awhile on stock gears. Absolutely sucked on the highway, but off road she performed flawlessly.
Sadly, 95% of my driving IS on the highway, so I switched down to 31s.
