Looking at options for LCAs. Found a few on craigslist, but the sellers aren't sure what size lift they came off of/fit... wondering if anyone knows what size (length-wise) control arms I should be looking for to fit a 3.5" lift?

yes, that is a pretty versatile set of leafs. 3.5, 4.5, and higher with shackle relo's if you wanted to go that route. The other OME leafs are 2.5" with one leaf removed, 3.5" full leaf pack.
I've been going back and forth trying to decide to buy them or just go with Rusty's. My XJ doesn't get much use on or off road. It's a spare vehicle, I only have 96k on it. I'm having a hard time justifying the extra money on OME for a vehicle that sits around all the time.

Does anybody know anything about the IRO 4 inch premium short arm lift kit? I am still doing research on lifts, and nobody seems to have any reviews on this kit.

ok guys, its been a while since I was even on just to check threads cuz of app issues on the iphone. 
99 XJ 4WD. piecing together parts for a 3.5" lift. mostly RE components and Metalcloak adjustable LCA's. down to shocks and possible(probable) SYE.
looking at bilstein shocks but I'm open to recommendations. For the fronts, are the bil 24-188197 gonna work? what about the rears, bil 33-066868?
don't beat me up. I know measuring is the best way to know but places around here are sometimes hard to work with and I'd like to have em in hand when time to install. tell me ya'lls experience at this height and don't be afraid to throw out other brands. TIA

Whats yall thoughts on the grabbers AT2. See some mixed feelings. I would be getting the e rated ones. Mainly, are they good in the 6" of slush the north east gets on its storms.

Thats what im hearing about them. And for the negative reviews about squishiness, im curious if thats just the c rated ones. And lastly, curious about sidewall ply rating

Hi all,
Just bought 99 xj with 81k miles for $1400
Looking at getting the rough country x series lift. First off if you have it how do you like it? But most importantly, I know a lot of lift kits don't come with EVERYTHING you need to do the lift (ie extended brake lines). This kit seems pretty complete. Is there anything else I would need to get or do while I'm down there? Below is a link to the lift

Well at 4.5 you will need a SYE and CV drive shaft. Second I would not go with RC I do not have any personal experience with them, but my buddies do some like it and others don't. The ride quality is pretty poor in my opinion. I would go with Rubicon express if you want a complete 4.5 kit, but remember you still need a SYE and drive shaft.

Need help!
Okay so I know this question has probably been asked here before but i just cant find it so Im just going to ask.
my mechanic just put a 3.5 inch lift on my 2000 xj, by lift I mean new leafs new coils and new shocks.. he said that now my rear drive shaft is too short and all the front steering parts need to be replaced because everything is too tight. My question is what parts will I need for it to be drivable.. im not looking to be doing toooo much off roading. Thankyou so much!
