Tires for XJ
Does anyone have experience with the BFG all terrain ko2? Im selling my 33" maja MTZ set and gettting a 30" tire. I need a tire that works great on and off road. I go offroad about 25% of the time, and have a 3" lift.

Quick question y'all.
Recently installed my re 2" budget boost with an AAL and coil spacers up front and their shocks. Rides great and love it. However I have the lift bug now and will want to go higher in the future. It's my DD and an occasional offroader. no extreme for me, just a trailer to go out and camp with.
I know the aal are going to sag after a while. When that goes down (literally) I'd like to upgrade to a 3" leaf pack and 3" coils. Will I be able to use my same shocks I got from my budget boost or will I need to upgrade those too? Thanks!

Yeah, the shocks came with the re lift package so they're proper length. Thanks for the reply and info!
No, I don't lick fish.
As far as I'm aware, they don't make the KO2's for a 15" wheel. They look like they're a great tire and a great improvement on the KO1's.
2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport Tire Advice
Hey all,
I own a 2000 jeep cherokee sport and I'm going to install a 4.5 inch rugged country lift on it. I'm looking to increase my tire size on it afterwards and I don't really have an idea on what. The current tire size on the jeep is 235/75/R15 and I'm going to replace the wheels and tires with new ones. I'm looking for advice considering good tire/wheel sizes, recommended gear ratio changes and such. Most everything on the vehicle is stock to my knowledge and any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I bought the OME cs033rb's and the 3034 springs. I'm trying to achieve a more level look. I've read that I should remove one of the leaf's from the RB's to get it around 2.5, but does it matter which one of the leaf's I remove? Also, what brand/size spring spacer should I look at for the front to get the best quality ride.

Out of curiosity, where are you getting this lift from? Never heard of a Rugged Country lift. Is it perhaps Rough Country? If so, you would be much better off with a 4.5" Rubicon Express lift... much better bang for the buck.
Here's a few charts and whatnot to help you out....

Here's one that will tell you what teeth count your speedo gear needs to be:
4.5" should allow you to fit 33" tires as long as your wheel backspacing is 4" or less. It's recommended that you re-gear to at least 4.10:1 by that point and replace your speedo sensor.

Very impressive set of information, more than what I was hoping for! This will be very useful for my overall cost estimation. The lift is rough country my bad. I'll take a look at the other lift and do a comparison. Thank you very much for the help and it's a great idea to move this information to the front of this forum section.
