And spacers are a great choice for anyone that likes the OEM wheels they currently have.

Make sure to follow the manufactures instructions and check them from time to time.

To be clear, I don't hate spacers. I simply don't trust them. There are tons of people all over the place who have used them for years without ever having an issue. But I break enough stuff already, and the last thing I need to do is introduce another potential failure point, especially at the wheels.

What bothers me about spacers is that so many people:
1) Buy the cheapest ones they can find.
2) Don't torque them properly.
3) Don't ever check the torque again after they're installed.

Quality spacers (i.e.- Spidertrax) are perfectly safe when installed correctly and maintained. But I'd much rather buy wheels with the proper backspacing for not much more cost.

Clown is right. People are scared to spend $50 a piece on quality spacers. I love my hub centric spidertrax. Im choosing to keep my rims. Plus i bought a torque wrench to ensure proper torque and re torqued 1000 miles later and with every other oil change i check em. Haven't budged yet over a year.

What does scare me about spacers if i ever need to take my rotor off. I don't know how glued they gonna be on.

lol.. user error is usually the problem with most anything.. i see it a lot on the different mopar boards i'm on.

If you follow instructions and keep up with maintenance, you'll be fine. I simply don't like the idea of spacers on my vehicles.

Pretty sure that 176 stands for A176 which is a steel spec and not the "Made in China" spec.

The 3 spacers thing is comical though. I don't know but in my mind I imagine it on one of these full size pickups that have never been offroad a day in their life. Where I live you can't not see at least one at all times. You could literally stop at any time on a main road and count them.

17" JK wheels with 1.5" synergy hub-centric spacers and 255 75 17's. The wheels are 6" back spacing, but you have to run the adaptors/spacers to convert the bolt pattern.

Haha, I was thinking about buying a cheap eBay one once I start wheeling it just to get me home if the poop hits the fan. Honestly I'm impressed with them I believe the wheel will break before the adaptor dose. Just did my 500mi torque check and all is good.

what are they 8" wide? the 1.5 spacer makes it 4.5 backspace. i like where the tire sits on that. looks like the tie measures around 32x10. i kinda like hat measurement too.. which jk wheels are they?

They're 7" wide wheels, came off of a 2014 JK. IIRC the tires are 32.1 x 10 per some random tire conversion chart I located with google
