Soon I am going to 2" budget lift my XJ, the tires I have now are about shot, so with these two things in mind, I can upsize and upgrade (currently I have 235 Goodyear Wrangler Radials)
Kind of on a budget, so I am looking at these two tires:

Hankook Dynapro ATm RF10
And:
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO

Both I am looking at 30x9.5x15 for size.

The Jeep is a 80% DD, trying to keep near stock MPG, and would like a tire that will last, and I have read the BFG's are superior. Is the extra $ worth it for them as mostly a DD?
As a last note, I would like an aggressive looking tire to help "enhance" the appearance of my budget lift; do the Hankooks looks hold up to the BFG's?

Go with BFG a/t. I only hear good things about them. Hankook makes good street tires, but I don't know about a/ts. Just my opinion.

Hankook makes wonderful off-road tires. I've had both brands on my jeep. But I recommend the hankook dynapro Mt r03 tires. Over the either your looking at. They are simply awesome. And low on noise. And will last upwards of 50k. I ran them in 30x9.50 on my jeep last year. Sold them to a buddy with a zj that just loves them

Alright thanks for the input so far.
I like those MT's from Hankook, but I am not really sure I need a "mud focused" kind of tire for all the street driving I do, and I was reading they don't do as well in the rain and ice.
Cool for sure, I wouldn't not consider getting them, but the above factors and the higher price doesn't really put them at the top of my list at this time...

...Actually I might take that back; good old Walmart has them for only a dollar more over the ATM's lol.
Still probably going to get something more "streetish" for a tire though.

BFG A/T would be my choice of the 2 you like if I was wanting an AT, But another tire to look at is the GY Duratrac which would be my first choice

Yeah starting to lean more toward the BFG's
And Goodyears are OK, those are a bit too pricy and I just am not to fond with their rubber; its too soft or something, starts cracking easily, little chunks fall off. My set did ok with about 35K...but in a sense thats not very good at all lol.
I guess for $85 each that mileage is reasonable.

They are good in the rain, I did alot of driving in rain with them. they also did wonderful in the snow. I did hit I big patch of ice before the sent me into a skid, But that would of happened no matter what tire I was running, it was solid black ice. The are great for street driving also. One issue I ALWAYS have with every BFG AT I install on someone truck never balance well. End up loading up with weight to 0 out.

BFG AT KOs are the standard by which every A/T tire is judged, and they are for a reason as they are outstanding tires. If you want something just as good for less money the General Grabber AT2s or Falken Wildpeak ATs are two excellent budget friendly options.

DuraTrac's and here's why:
Aside from that aggressive look you want, these are the most aggressive AT tire I've seen. Generous lugs, especially on the shoulders and a longer, more parallel running center lug to help reduce road noise. Lots of siping to handle snow. They intact have the snowflake badge, and can be studded. My last set last for 3 straight years and about 50k miles. They are great for mild/kinda aggressive offroading, great in rain, awesome in snow, have good road manners. They are legit.

I had general grabber at2's on my old ranger and i really liked them. For the money i dont think you can beat them. I would choose them over bfg's becuase they work just as good and cost less.

I like the Duratacs, just a little to much $ and I am not fond of Goodyears soft kind of rubber..

When i sold the truck the tires had about 10k most was highway with some mild offroading and there was very little wear. I think they would have lasted 50-60k easy.
