I have a 3-3.75" lift on it. Im not sure what it was originally but I recently put some 285 75 16's on it they didnt rub But I did have my factory flares taken off if it. they measure out to be about a 32.5 tire. I think its all relative to the tire on how much room you actually need. I dont do any rock crawling I mostly run desert sand so I dont really see any flex. If the tires are free try them. If they arent free see if he will let you try them.

my bud just bought brand new RE leafs. guess what, they're made in india now. so.... we'll see.
he's on 3.5 (which measures 4.5 on stock shackles), and on 31's. 33's would be cutting it close without trimming. you would have to trim quite a bit to fully flex without rubbing.

my friend said I could have his 33's if I wanted but there for 16 inch rims and I have 15 inch. I wanted to put them on and drive around with them to see how i liked it but idk how to get my hands on some 16 inch rims for a few days
the tires I want to buy are toyo open country mt's. Has anyone run them they don't seem to have huge tread I would have to cut alot for.

there are alot of chrysler products that ran 16's. JY is a good bet. The back spacing wont be what you want but one will probably be enough to get you one to test if it rubs.

No one has mentioned this so far so i will. I don't know what kind of gearing ratio you have but if its stock you are gonna lose quite a bit of power and torque if you do the 33's. That's the only reason im not gonna get them is cause i don't want to regear

Yard wheeling to see how bad they rub.Lets just say alot.I have a 3 in. put together lift & 33's.Lots of trimming;don't forget the pinch seam & there are at least 4 big sheetmetal screws going thru the fender & will cut the tires.I have stock gears & gotta say not much diff. in my 31's as far as power. But, my gas milesage went from 300 miles to a tank with 31's to about 160/170 with the 33's.BTW, I drive like a old man on Sunday's,most of the time.
