I've done a few oil changes on my 2001 4.0 GC now and I still haven't settled in on an oil that I will use consistently. I just got back from buying Rotela T6 5w40 for an oil change I will be doing the next couple days because I have heard people talk well about it......... Can any of you give me a review of this oil before I do the change? It says it's a synthetic for diesel engines so I don't know much other than a few people seem to like it. If it's no good I can always exchange it for something else with the receipt. So, what are your thoughts and experiences using this oil?

People seem to love it. It has good levels of zinc in it which is important to all flat-tappet cams. I personally never have so here ya go!

I use normal rotella, I get it free

just use an oil with sufficient zinc in it or use a zinc additive. you're not building a Swiss watch here, it's just oil.
