Default 1995 Cherokee Sport Brush Guard

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a brush guard for my Cherokee Sport '95. I really like the guard on this thread:

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/new-brush-guard-12639/

According to the thread, the manufacturer went out of business. If anyone can suggest other similar guards that would be great. I'd like to buy from legitimate websites or stores so no ebay or craigslist. So far I have found one from this website:

http://www.carid.com/1995-jeep-chero...rd-866972.html

I'd like the guard to be more rectangular (not including corners) than slanted upwards on the headlight section (if that makes sense). Any brush guard suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Only one i know still made is http://www.quadratec.com/products/72115_802_07.htm But a brush guard is only for looks in a wreck it will bend back in to the jeep. And for the price you can buy a true off road bumper like http://www.dirtboundoffroad.com/extr...erokee-xj.html or his updated one http://www.dirtboundoffroad.com/mant...erokee-xj.html

Does anyone know the difference between the Aries 1034 and 1043 brush guards? They seem pretty sturdy, it'll be used more for overgrown brush and branches on a farm.

i would not spend $250+ on a bumper just to protect you from this^^^. your factory bumper will hold up to the "punishment" just fine.

OR

these are a bit more legit if your really worried about it... VERY comparable price to those critter catchers your looking at.

(i had one of these on my jeep and though it looks cheap and its Easily built. Its actually pretty good for the price. I even hit a semi trailer at 50~mph with mine on.... kinda saved my life.)

Also check eBay. There's a guy selling steel bumpers with push bars there for $260. They're a copy of some name brand bumper that sells for over $500. They just need to be painted. I plan on buying one once I have a valid excuse.

Hahahaha never mind the above poster already posted the link. The prerunner bumper is the one I was talking about. Looks stout enough and surely an upgrade from stock. Though to be frank, I really think its a waste of money buying an armored truck front bumper just to knock down weeds and bushes. Its not gonna do anything your stock front clip isn't gonna do and you'll be stuck pulling weeds and brush from my our grill every time you drive through that mess. Best of luck.
