1990 Engine to chassis ground
Can I ground the engine to the same spot that the battery is grounded?
my battery is grounded about a foot away from the negative terminal above the cover for all of the electrical.
I found 2 bolts in the middle of the engine on the battery side that hold up a bracket for two hoses that I thought might work for a place to attach the terminal.
I wasn't sure if I needed to ground to a separate location than the battery. Here's a picture of the bracket.
Or should I attach it to a bolt on the alternator bracket?

The battery had one wire going to a bolt on the firewall area right next to the engine (not exactly sure what its bolted to)
I can't get a wrench in to that area to add my new 2/0 cable to it. Theres other wires grounded to the dipstick bracket but the one comin from the battery wasn't mounted to that spot.
my main question is if I can run a ground from the engine to the chassis and mount it to the same spot on the chassis I grounded the battery to or if it needs to be a new spot.
I'm working on a big 3 upgrade. I haven't removed stock wires, just added new terminals to attach them to my new marine battery terminals. I've done a battery to chassis ground, alternator to battery positive, and now I need the engine to chassis.

So I found the engine to chassis stock ground. It's a bare braided wire on the back of the engine that attaches to the chassis right under the wiper blades basically. It looks like the paint wasn't even sanded from under the bolt. I guess I'll replace that
