01 upcountry replacement springs
Need to replace springs( leafs and coils) on my wife's DD 01 xj. Not trying to lift it. Just want to use upcountry replacements. Have a set of 235-75 for it. Right now leafs are frowning bad. Figured if I'm going to replace springs why not go with upcountry style. Haven't been able to find solid answers for part numbers. I have the factory numbers so I don't need those. And I don't want to use any 2 inch lift springs so please refrain from suggesting. Moog cc 782 is listed for up to 96. Can't find any listed for 01. And I've heard negative reviews about 782's. Would like to use a single rate spring but have only found moog variable rate. I think I figured out what leafs to get but not coils. Any upcountry replacements other than moog variable that will work on 01?

So can't seem to find any xj upcountry replacement coils aside from the moog variable rate. Going to swing by the local dealership and see what they know. If nothing else might go with the zj coils. Hopefully not too stiff of a ride with them.

Definitely a few junkyards around. Already installed new tie rod, drag link, ends, adjuster sleeves, stabilizer, track bar, ball joints, sway bar connectors and bushings. Used all new bolts on everything. Plan on replacing springs front and rear and shocks with all new bolts bushings and other hardware. And all 3 rubber brake lines. Rotors, drums, bearings, u joints and diff seals and gaskets. So I don't want to use any junkyard parts really.

OME part NO. 2931 140 lb spring rate (same as stock) gave me 1" to 1.5" over stock. I went taller. Still have them if your interested. Ran them about a year and a half.

These are listed as 98 zj coils. Only $54 for the pair. I never checked quadratech or 4wd. I see the emu 1" lift coils for $163. That's quite a difference in price. Might try the delco's first.anyone tried these springs?

There are no coils listed on autozone.com. Haven't stopped at one but they should list them on their website if they sold them I would assume. Only places in town are napa and a privately owned auto store. Haven't checked with them yet either. I've been buying parts through amazon lately because they are a lot cheaper. I even get a 20% discount at the 2 local parts stores and amazons prices are still usually lower.
