Winterfest 2015
Winterfest '15 is fast approaching. It'll be held March 6th and 7th at the Badlands in Attica, IN. Preregistration will be opening up soon.
Required equipment for NAXJA MWC sponsored events:
All vehicles must have the following equipment to attend the off road portion of NAXJA MWC sponsored events:
• Legally required automobile insurance and registration, where required for the event;
• Visibly charged Fire extinguisher; The MWC strongly suggests that at least 5lbs of fire extinguisher capability be on each vehicle.
• First Aid Kit;
• Tow strap (no metal hooks allowed);
• Safety belts anchored to factory mounts or vehicle frame;
• Spare tire, jack, and lug wrench (exceptions maybe made if you can get it off the trail, i.e. plug kit/on board air);
• Adequate tow points both front and rear, properly attached. NO welded cast tow hooks allowed.
• Secured battery (bungee strap does not count)
• CB or FRS radio
If the vehicle has a winch, you must have leather (or equivalent) gloves and an item to control the cable in the event of a sudden loss of tension.
Your vehicle will have to pass tech inspection in order to get your registration materials, so come prepared.
Contact me via PM with any questions or more info.

Well I'll definitely be up there Saturday. I am thinking about going up for the Pot Luck Dinner Friday night and coming back home then just heading back up Saturday morning as its only a little over an hour drive for me. Sunday is more than likely a no go but we'll see how things go.

It's held by an XJ club, but we welcome anyone to join us, XJ or not. Just be sure to register and that your vehicle can pass tech inspection. Also, if you miss pre-registration, you can register at the event. However, you are not guaranteed a shirt, decals, dash plaque or dinner.

Yea this will be my first WF. I honestly don't know how long I'll stay.. hell I'm down to stay til dinner, especially not knowing whether or not I'll be coming back Sunday. I'll just have to see how things go. Definitely excited though, I have a few more things to get done to the Jeep first.

Friday and Saturday are the official runs. Sunday you'll get a few people who want to go out again, but usually it's nursing headaches from the bonfire or loading up to head home.
