What is it worth? 1998 or 1999 XJ
I have seen this Jeep sitting in a yard for over a year. I stopped a few months back once I got into XJ Jeeps and left my number. It was the guy's sister who owned it and she was keeping it there. Here is what it is:
1998 or 1999 Jeep XJ. Perfect body Not sure what model. I think it said classic. It looks just like my 2000 xj sport and has same aluminum wheels.
Blown motor(her son ran it hot at highway speeds till it started to crawl)
4x4
4.0L
Chrysler 8.25 rear
AX4
NP231
Towing package
Absolutely no rust
140k ish miles
Interior looks great but needs head liner
So what would this be worth?
I am looking at the following just to get it on the road:
engine
fuel pump
battery
full fluid change
head liner

Have you checked for rust underneath? Depending on what corner of the country you're in, sitting static in the grass for a year can accelerate rust QUICKLY. A lot of extra moisture can get trapped under there and it can get ugly in a hurry.
