I got my first sneak peak of what the lift will look like when it's all said and done! I got the front end mostly finished up.

I still need to do the shocks and it looks like I'll need a new track bar. I was hoping to get by with the stock one but the Jeep apparantly has other plans...

Doing it by yourself? Gonna be nice.

How do you like those tires? I'm needing to get some for the wife's Blazer next month. Had thought about the new Khumo 51AT but we want something that's more highway friendly. That Firestone rates at the top for good highway manners. It's got to be an AT tire.

Yep, I'm by myself. Thanks! I am happy with the Firestones. I do a lot of highway driving and I've been pleased with them. I mainly bought them for highway and winter driving. They've impressed me in snow and ice. For the light offroading I've done so far (hopefully that'll change post-lift), they've been solid. They are mediocre in mud, but they aren't M/T's so that's to be expected. I also neglected to air down (it was a spur of the moment thing) so that didn't help.

I ran 32" kuhmos road venture at51s for a 20 mile commute daily for a few months and absolutely loved them. Don't know of a more highway friendly AT tire.

"Yep, I'm by myself." Be careful Dude.

THANKS guys! Glad to hear that about the two I'm considering.

I've got Grabber AT2's on my XJ and luv'em . Getting great mileage(heading into my 4th winter)with them but at least to me they aren't a good high speed highway tire. We plan on driving to Florida next summer so I want a good handling/riding tire but we do need an AT tire due to where we live. An All-Season tire won't cut it.

I stopped by parents for lunch and My dad noticed gas smell. Turns out my #4 Fuel Injector was leaking bad. Like 5 drops in 2 seconds. I quickly went out and bought the o-ring set for all of them and replaced them during my lunch hour. Some of the O-rings were horrible!! like chunks cut missing, etc.

Went mudding and killed my horns again.

Bought new horns ($10 from ebay)
Not expecting them to last more than a year, but would be a nice surprise if they do

Ahh... I love the smell of new parts!!! My trackbar was waiting for me when I got home! Now it's roughly assembled and if time permits I will be installing the front lift this weekend! Finally!!! Woot!

Wel after e_hall rolled his Jeep this weekend, my girlfriend freaked out on me. His roof rack basically absorbed all the impact of his roll saving his jeep from damage. So she told me I need to reenforce my roof immediately. I'm not ready for any type of cage, so I guess I'm getting a roof rack soon. I might build my own.

I would advise against a roof rack I had one on my old xj when I had a 45mph roll over and it almost killed me save your money and buy a cage
