What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Ok, so I've googled and searched multiple forums but don't think I've found a solution to my prob. I'll start a new thread if needed.
Problem: installed a new backup camera. Instructions say to supply power to camera by connecting to reverse light circuit. Done. Everything works when I put into reverse, until I turn on the headlights! '94 xj sport. The bulb only has two wires going to it and I tapped in to the center? one. When tested with power probe both had a negative (ground) connection, and when I applied power to the center it light up bulb. Hence the reason I taped into it. But does the polarity switch when headlights are on?

crap why didn't I think of that. Well if I had used both wires from the BU circuit that would be the first place to look, but... I used another circuit in the hatch for the ground. So I guess I need to find a diff circuit for the ground. But that means taking the hatch cover off again...dohhh!

Swapped out another BWD Throttle Position Sensor, making this one replacement #3.
The guys at Advance Auto are going to keep one in stock for me for when this one dies as well. Complete junk sensors...
